Frank Pomarico, one of Holy Cross Village’s Transportation Coordinators, shares his first of this season’s Notre Dame football segments on the KSHP Harvey Hyde radio show out of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Listen below:

Frank, who has been doing this segment since 2002, has special insight into Notre Dame’s football team: a University of Notre Dame alumni, he was Captain of Ara Parseghian’s 1973 Notre Dame National Championship team that beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. More than that, he also coached at Notre Dame in 1980 and served as TV and Radio Analyst for WNDU during the 1986 Notre Dame Football Season.

Since then, Frank has been a football coach for 15 years and is currently coaching football at Lumen Christi in Jackson, Michigan– but this is only a fraction of Frank’s long career. For more information, check out his memoir “Ara’s Knights” or strike up a conversation the next time you see him!

Frank Pomarico has been a Transportation Coordinator since 2023.

Frank will be sharing more of his radio segments throughout the season for residents to enjoy. Check out episode two here.
